good to see him on the court....
He needs to develop, but he is not doing much right now.
We all know he needs to develop. It doesn't have to be posted again, again, and again after EWill's name is mentioned. I think he's looked better today and deserves a little credit.
I thought EWill showed some progress today. He didnt fill up the stat sheet but he was active and seems to be getting better on D.
I liked the shot he took that ended up missing, but butler destroyed the rebound. nice little hook.
Considering that he was playing with 4 guards, I thought he did well.
I liked his move to the middle of the lane and thw baby hook. He missed but in the future that should give time a bit more room to operate.
Wish he could have finished that drive to the hoop but it was blocked, still looked pretty lost on D though
Buzz said he thought he played very well, was surprised/impressed that he tried to score, and that he's played well in practice and has progressed to the point where he's earned the right to play two or three minutes here and there. That's a ton of progress from where he stood earlier.
Great analysis.
Regardless if you think he played well or not (I personally thought he did just fine considering he was playing with four guards and no lazar or butler), it was great to see him get some minutes in a key situation against a quality opponent. This should do wonders for his confidence down the stretch and hopefully he can continue to grow and develop into a quality player. He even got his name mentioned in the highlight real when he missed that hook shot and butler flushed the rebound.
He played with butler

He played with butler
He did but then butler picked up his second foul with a little under 2 mins left in the half and was forced to the bench. For the remainder of the half, Eric was out there with four guards.
