I'm 2 for 2 in my fearless predictions
MU will beat UCONN this weekend. UCONN has some issues, it's at home for them but MU is ready to finally get a solid road win. MU by 4 and we actually make critical free throws down the stretch.
And by saying you're 2 for 2, you have jinxed yourself. >:(
And the SOtG will be....
who makes these said free throws? i would believe lazar, jimmy, or junior

By "junior" do you mean the Canadian PG, eh? or the Junior Mint PG?

junior "ice in his veins" caddy
I'm with Chicos here.
win by 6 though.
I talked to Cadougan and Acker last night at a church bingo event. They said that they have been working together to form a single "super man" that is 9 feet tall and can distribute, shoot the 3 and dunk.
Marquette by 18.
WiIsh I could share in the enthusiasm, but with UConn coming off their bad loss to Providence, I just don't see MU pulling it out on Saturday. UConn's size is going to really hurt us and they will probably score at will in the paint, along with Stanley Robinson having another career game against us. Hope I am wrong.

And I guess that would be a "Fearful Prediction."
We need to take charges when Robinson drives to the hoop, I expect 2 charge calls on him tomorrow. He tends to push the ball too much and force it to the hoop, make him take jumpers. I think we will get them into foul trouble.
What's the over/under on the number of times Robinson jumps completely over him?
I just have a feeling this will be our first double digit loss game.
I hope you're right and i think there's a good chance it can happen. UCONN losing to PC really doesn't help...I think moving to 3-6 in confrence would for sure keep Marquette out of the tournament and without any real opportunities left to gain a marquee win. Obviously a great run in the Big East tournament can change evrything, but if we lose on Saturday realistically i think you can start planning for the NIT.

This game will be a tough game no doubt because neither team can afford to lose. UCONN is 13-7 with some more notable wins than Marquette, such as beating then #1 Texas. Yet UCONN still has to play @ Syracuse, @Villanova, at home against West Virginia, and Louisville twice. If they don't win this game they could be looking at the NIT as well.

Out of curiousity - what were these?
This game is definitely a "must win" to enhance our limited post season chances. In addition, right now we are in the bottom 4 of the conference so we better start winning if we want to move up.
I suspect that Buzz will probably go with his three to four Guard line-up. I'm wondering when he will end up with the 3 Midgeteers line-up with Cooby, Acker and Jr. all in at the same time.

I would love for you to be right but I just do not see it. I fear the road drought continues.

Maryland Eastern Shore win and the DePaul loss.
I know one was the Georgetown win...the other I am not sure of.
Are we playing in Storrs or Hartford?
If Stanley Robinson goes off, make sure you remember your ear plugs for his inevitable screaming-while-dunking.

HAHAHAHAHA
I guess I'm seeing a loss, though a win would not surprise me at all.
BTW, what makes the prediction fearless? What sort of harm will you suffer if your wrong?
Do see it..UCONN by 15
Victory cigar....told you we would hit key free throws down the stretch...almost got the spread right, too.
;)
Playing in Hartford was key. WOW great win!
