A group of us will be driving down to Hartford from Boston on Saturday morning, and partaking in some cold adult beverages beforehand at the Black Bear on Allyn Street about 2 blocks from the XL Center if any 'Scoopers want to me up!

My husband and I went to UCONN 2 yrs ago. Come armed and ready with some powerful MU cheering! Their student section and fans were a nightmare. Relentless with specific words for Crean, Lazar, ad Dominic too...surprised security let it all slide. I think they were still ticked we beat them so badly for our home opener of the Big East. GO MARQUETTE, BEAT UCONN!

I was at that game too, one of the best MU games I have seen, but wasn't it 3 years ago? I just remember some piece of sh!t UCONN student literally willing to fight the entire MU fan section. And there was a good 4 or 5 dozen of us, including the Tomahawk himself, Todd Townsend.
I didn't care for the UCONN fans either, until susie said there were "specific words" for Crean. In hindsight, they were pretty perceptive. Not a bad bunch of characters.
My daughter has first Reconciliation at the same time as the game. Bummed that I have to miss a game on my home turf.
