Little shaq and I took a tour of the Palermo's pizza plant in the valley today. Palermo's is a local family owned frozen pizza factory. They are a sponsor of MU hoops. The factory was very impressive and makes 450 pizzas per minute making it the largest private owned pizza factory in the US. The Za was very tasty as we had a chance to test many of their slices and meet the two brothers who own it. They are big MU supporters. I urge all muscoop posters to support this great local company.

Great little company. In addition to their name brand, Palermo's also supplies Aldi's with (Mama Cozi's) sp? and Target (Archer Farms) with pizzas.
Palermo's also supports my digestive system with drawn-out bouts of diarrhea.

Which is honestly needed from time to time.
I do believe the label says to "cook" the pizza prior to eating 8-)
They have some awful radio commercials, but I think their pizza is pretty delicious.
I think their "Classic" line is the best frozen cardboard pizza out there IMO. Plus, every two months or so at the neighborhood grocery store, they go on sale for 5/$10... the very next day, my chest freezer is half full of frozen pizzas.
Palermo's Cafe for lunch is a nice change of pace and is well priced and quick.
Tastes nothing like the frozen pizza (which isn't all that bad).

Is it at the plant?
