The conference is a whisker ahead of the Missouri Valley and Big 12, but it's the highest the conference has been in months.
That's helpful. The top 10 or so the Big East is up there with anybody, I think, but we don't have any really tremendous teams (save Pitt maybe) and we have some teams that are truly terrible (Cincy, Rutgers) at the bottom of the standings, who won't continue to be this bad in the upcoming years. I think this season is about as bad as the Big East gets, and it is still pretty good.

I still would put us in a conference challenge at the beginning of the year like the Big Ten/ACC challenge, I'm suprised not more conferences do it, gets good tv time at the beginning of the year for your schools.
