I'm at a restaurant for dinner and just got an alert on MU iPhone.
Is this serious? Maybe we can stop the NCAA talk now
What an embarassment
We lost one game. Depaul hit A BUNCH of prayers and MU didn't hit free throws. Its about that easy. NCAA talk will pause til we beat Syracuse.

Seems to have happened in 4 out of 6 Big East games. That's how 12th place finishes (or worse) are born.

What was for dinner? Hope, at least, someone else was paying and you didn't get vomit on anyone after reading the final score.

Oh, you got the text at the restaurant? Please, save the critique for games you actually watch.

We are about to go 2-5 in conference and assume thee 12th position in the BE.
That's the problem. MU lost to DePaul. You didn't have to see the game to know it is a complete and utter embarrassment!!

But that's where were projected all along!!!!
Right now the only position the team has assumed is bent over holding their collective ankles.
Wow. Yes, bad loss, but I can't believe how angry this board is. Look at what this team has given us versus what they were "supposed" to.

A 6-5 guy shooting over Acker is far from a prayer. Check out the picture on the JS site. Clean look.

I was there...and it was a pathetic effort
18 points in the second half against a bad team that was without it's best player...even if we would have won, we wouldn't have deserved it...
This year it was DePaul, last year it was USF.
There are no gimme's in the BEast, period.

Italian...yeah, it was work related. Fortunately it was with a bunch of women from our call centers that don't follow basketball so when the alert came on and my face probably showed the WTF look, they didn't understand.
No vomiting.

I can't critique a loss to one of the worst teams in Division I because I didn't see this game? One of the reasons I went to dinner this night was due to the opponent, there was no way on planet earth that we could lose to DePaul.
Except that we did....what an embarrassment (whether I saw it or not.....total embarrassment that we lost this game)

What have they given, exactly, except what they were predicted to give? Namely, a 12th place position. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 1-point loss to WVU or a 2-point loss to Nova are still losses. Only losers believe in moral victories.

Well I just watched the second half via DVR....sped through much of it. Not sure why some of you felt I needed to see the game to offer an opinion. After watching the second half, I'll double down.
OUTRIGHT EMBARRASSING
I just watched it again also. DePaul would have beaten by any one of 20 high school teams last night. We just had one of the worst halves of basketball in MU history.
Man, that's some masochism (or uh, love of the program, I guess). I had that thing off my dvr as fast as possible for fear it would infect anything else I watched.
