Peterson's ejection really helped set the table for a Marquette blowout.
Watching the replay of the game, he was an active interior player before the ejection.

How influential would he have been?

No impact in the final outcome.

MU would have only won by 25.

It wouldn't have mattered. Greedy played nearly the entire first half and PC still went in with a double digit deficit.

This was one of the two-four games a year where the team does most everything correct.

Just a point of reference: it was a 14 point game with 2:25ish to play when Jamine was ejected.

MU was in control, no doubt, but his presence inside might have still made an impact with a half to play.
Just my two cents.

It would not be a 30 point win, but a +10 win without a doubt.  Marquette was shooting lights out today.

It eliminated what chance there was for a come-back, so it effectively ended the game.  But at the time, Marquette was pulling away.  Marquette would have gone into half-time with a double digit lead, and it would have been tough for Prov.  to get back in it under the best circumstances.

If his presence would have caused Marquette to have a repeat performance of the worst half of basketball ever, while also causing his team to miss only 6 shots in the entire half, then it would have been a loss.  I don't think that would have happened though.
