MU 93, Providence 63
Led by career days from Maurice Acker and Darius Johnson-Odom, the Marquette Golden Eagles drilled the Providence Friars, 93-63, in a much-needed laugher on Sunday afternoon at the Bradley Center.
Acker shrugged off a broken tooth suffered in a first-half scrum for a loose ball to score 23 points and Johnson-Odom scored 22 points, including 20 in the first half, to spark a 61.4% shooting day and its most lopsided Big East victory in over a year.
