Good for us, in that it makes our win over Michigan look better? Or does the fact that Michigan beat UConn have a negative effect on us in terms of RPI? Or is it a wash?

Regardless, doesn't say much for UCONN.

Not sure if it helps or hurts us but one thing is for certain, the mu vs. uconn game just became a bit more interesting in terms of making the tournament.  Uconn is stuggling as of late and will need that win just as much as we need it.

The Big East is 1-4 against the Big Ten this year...with MU getting the only W.

Not to start another "Rush-the-court" thread, but dammit that was lame.   Lame when UW did it against Duke, even lamer in this instance.

I know this is a Michigan thread, but man oh man, UConn has talent but not putting it together.

One must wonder if, considering his health issues, Calhoun's gonna call it in the next few years.

Agreed. UConn has the talent, but they do not play as a team.

Wasn't the NCAA investigating UConn?  What happened with that?  That would be some additional motivation to retire!

Calhoun's not planning on going anywhere, at least that's the word around here.  He signed an extension fairly recently.  He's never had much of a half court offense, but all of his great teams have had great college PGs to get everyone involved.  They try to beat you down the floor and if they can't, their offense becomes one player after another trying to "create."  Kemba Walker is an exciting player, as is Jerome Dyson, but they do not  have a real "run the team, coach on the floor" type of PG, and they won't win big this year.

They are a nightmare matchup for us, however, as they are just too big and athletic on the interior for us to handle.
