Title: Pack/Cards
Post by: Dish on January 10, 2010, 06:22:54 PM
Surprised no thread started yet, crazy/insane game going on. Madden-esque.

Last team with the ball wins? Anyone going to play defense in these last 10 minutes?

Great poise by the Pack to come all the way back to tie this game. Woodson doesn't create that fumble on Fitzgerald earlier, and this ball game is probably over very early.

that missed fg by crosby would be HUGE right now.

Unreal, 45 all, under 2 minutes left. One of the most memorable Wild Card games ever.

Wow. Pack's achilles heel all year ends their season. Unbelievable game.

O/U for Cards/Saints on Saturday is 55 1/2...55 and a half! I believe this is the highest total for any playoff game in history. Be interesting to see how it moves.

That game was insane. I think you have to make Karlos Dansby player of the game. He was responsible for all three of the Packers' turnovers.

This game really showed how much the Pack missed Harris in the backfield. You can bet that Early Doucet and Steve Breaston don't score three touchdowns between them with Harris in the game.

What a game...

They got bit by things that have been strengths...3 turnovers, and Rodgers missed Jennings open deep twice (once in OT that would have won the game).

Yup, first we had the holding that called back the first down, btw college is atrocious (the play which included a helmet to helmet on rodgers). Then that hit at the end caused by a clear protection breakdown (in which rodgers got dragged down by the facemask).

This was a very poorly officiated game. Twice Woodson was clearly shoved to the ground by Fitz with before a big catch, and that roughing the passer call was a joke, he was clearly being held. Obviously officiating wasn't the reason we lost, but it just seemed extremely amateur today.

I feel for you Packer fans.  I live with two of them.  I cheered for them today...we were holding hands when Rackers came out and missed.

Can't believe it ended that way.

Ugh.

One other quick note...Jermichael Finley seems to become more of a man each and every game. The guy is just a bitch.

Curtis, I'll agree that it was a poorly officiated game. I'll also agree that the officiating wasn't the reason we lost. You can't turn the ball over three times and spot a team a 17point lead and expect to win. Especially in the playoffs.

Not sure...it means a guy that is big, strong, fast, tough, nearly impossible to stop, and capable of ripping an opponents arm off.

Pretty sure you can't allow your opponent to march up and down the field at will either.

Well, that goes without saying.
