For me, four moments in crunch time stood out.
1. DJO missing the pair of FTs at 2:35 with us up 69-67, practically shot putting the second one. That was a choke moment.
2. With the lead 71-69 and the ball at 1:40, we play keep away and make no attempt to score for 30+ seconds and leave it to Acker to create. He doesn't have that ability and has to take a running three pointer with a hitch in his stroke and no one under the basket. An atrocious possession at a crucial point in the game. That one was on Buzz (and was something that happened all the time under Crean)
3. The lame foul by DJO on Reynolds as makes the shot in the lane to give Nova the lead. If you're going to go up in the air like that, you've got to make a play on the ball. That was a choke moment, but it probably didn't cost us as Reynolds missed the FTs.
4. Butler has to dunk that ball at 72-73. He was trying to draw the foul rather than agressively trying to put the ball in the basket. I think good no-call by the official there, too.
Those kinds of mistakes cost you in close games.
All true, but then again we are lucky these last two games were close against 2 Top 10 teams becuase these guys never quit.
DJO had a bad day, bottom line. If he hits his usual we win. Some days cookies, some days crumbs.

Please don't use that word, you may have an entire thread dedicated to you about it.....actually, don't worry, you won't....it's only if one person uses that word that it's problematic, not if someone else uses it. Carry on.
Scottie Reynolds, 2 straight late possesions 2 straigh uncontested 3 pointers.

And guess who should have been on him---Numbnuts Acker.
Another thing that concerns me is the lack of touches for Lazar in the last five minutes of both this game and the WVU game. Obvioulsy I don't want him forcing up bad shots however I would like to see the offense going through him a bit more down the stretch. This afternoon in the last couple minutes, except for when he was fouled getting the offensive board, none of the offensive possessions went through him. If we are going to lose I want to lose with our best player having more opportunities at the end. I'm starting to ramble a bit, but after the Reynolds bucket I would of liked to see Buzz call a TO and draw something up for Lazar.
