Vitale giving Marquette some props with DW on his All-Decade Team and Novak as a honorable mention as best 3-point shooter.
I think we're his third favorite team after Duke and UNC.

A decade's over already?!? :o
Wet blanket time...technically, the decade is over next year. Just like Newman and Kramer's Millenium Party, people are jumping the gun.

Much easier to go by 0s, 10s, 20s, etc.
What a joke. Can he honestly say Reddick was the same level of player as Wade? Despite winning the Naismith in 2006, I feel like Reddick was stupidly overrated his entire college career. Great scorer, but thats about it. I didnt like him, but Hansbrough was a much more complete player. His ACC homerism is out of control. No mention of Blake Griffin?
i agree on Reddick but similar to a Tim tebow ...when you are a very good player on the best team you are going to get alot of love. Addioanlly much of Dukes offense is predicated on the three ball and Reddick shot a ton of them and knocked alot of them down. But when you look at the shooting peercentages no one touches Novak. Novak is quite simply one of the best shooters ever, just did not do enough of the other things to get the notoriety. he does it well enough though to get 7 figures a year
My only issue with the whole Reddick thing was that he took a *ton* of shots, but never approached Novak's percentage. Maybe Reddick was better at creating his own shot, or was a more complete all-around player (I'm not judging one way or the other for that), but in terms of pure shooting, Novak was more the marksman.
I think I'd get a little ticked if I was always the "also" man :)
