Looks like Wade won this round of Marquette NBA 2-guard battles (surprise!). Wes got 25 mins though he did not start.

Anyone see the game and if Wes and Wade guarded each other or acknowledged each other at all?
Went to the game with our alumni group. Smaller group than last year.
Wade and Wes did guard each other during a later stretch of the game. There was definitely some friendly banter that you could see between them.
I was pulling for Wes during the whole game, but Dwyane definitely got the better of him during their matchups. Crossover on one time. Blew by him with Wes running into a screen the next. Few similar runs thereafter... Dwyane was pretty much on fire this game.
Wes had a lot of mins--which I was glad to see--& played mostly on the perimeter. Had a few of his shots blocked under the basket. He played well.
Thanks for the update. Glad to here that Wes looked ok for the most part when he wasn't guarding Wade.
I noticed in the box score that Wes had a +8 scoring differential while he played. Pretty impressive, since his team lost by 10.
He did play well--probably the reason Sloan kept him in. Wish his teammates gave him the ball more--he could have been more useful. Would not fault him for the few blocks on the stats--they looked good.
A link I found briefly mentioning Wade and Wes:

Number 3 on the top 10 of the day. Wes is guarding Wade.

Wes got screened on that one.
Check the video in the first post.
That shows Wade shaking Wes on the right sideline for the missed dunk...0:48
