Title: Fulce
Post by: Clam Crowder on December 19, 2009, 03:45:50 PM
I wasn't at the game, but saw the numbers. Who was he up against down low for North Florida? Was it some scrub, or does his performance actually give us some hope that he can play decent again Big East opponents?

Chances are the guy he played against from NF was not Big East caliber.

Still, just the experience is a confidence builder.

I think it definitely gives us some hope.  He was active/aggressive on the glass and was hitting his shots.  I think he will continue to improve and his confidence will grow seeing as he will be getting more minutes with Maymon gone.

Just back from th e BC.  Actually, Joe had a nice active game.  It is a confidence builder.

I believe Fulce played against Diaz.  George Thompson and Homer said Diaz was pretty good.

Was there for the game. He actually scored 7 of the first 8 points or something like that. Very active, whether it was mid range or put backs. Obviously not Big East caliber defenders, but he was very effective with early touches. I'll take it as an overall good sign.

Nor was he University of Central Florida caliber. I've heard UCF is poised to do some damage in the Final Four.

Next year, although they won't show it until mid December.

I understand Michael Jordan's son Marcus plays for UCF!

I've watched them a few times this year and their offense is one 6'6 shooting guard away from being Kentucky-caliber.  Anyone who saw that 63-46 loss to Niagara would agree that the team's only weakness is at the 2-spot.
