Title: Dribble it out when losing?
Post by: mu_hilltopper on December 19, 2009, 03:17:20 PM
Never saw that before .. a losing team w/22 seconds, just killing the clock instead of trying to score.    I mean, you've lost, but play the game.

Still better than fouling down the stretch when you're losing.

It's cold.
It's a warm state team.
It's a loss no matter what happens in the last 22 seconds.

Get it over with as soon as possible.

Well, have to admit I was thinking the same thing - I have never seen that before.  You;d think they at least practice a play that MIGHT be meaningful in the last 30 seconds of a future game, just in case.  But really, have not seen it before either.
