Title: ESPN.com: Father/Daughter on UW vs MU and Rivalry Week
Post by: Avenue Commons on February 08, 2007, 09:56:32 AM
Check out the ESPN Motion clip on the right side of the page. The dad, in Marquette gear, says to the daughter about Bucky, "It's a rat, it's a total rat."
Hilarious. Also has clips from the Rutgers game last night. Awesome to see Marquette vs. Wisconsin mentioned along with Michigan vs. OSU and Duke vs. NC as a rivalry. Ring Out Ahoya, baby!

That was great.  And they didn't let Bucky have a rebuttle.

That, and the shirt says Iowa on it.  I didn't notice that the first time.  Damn.

Edited to add:  I guess we shouldn't be too disappointed that they didn't have Marquette/Bucky on that list.  It is Rivalry Week, and all the combinations they showed are on ESPN's schedule this week:

OSU/Mich (2/6)
Iowa/Wisc (2/10)
Duke/UNC (2/7)
Tenn/LSU (2/6)
Fla/KY (2/10)

Although going to a school that is 20 minutes from Iowa... I have friends from Iowa, and I just ate lunch with some BADger fans (one girl who declared Alando Tucker her boy, but when I asked her to name the BADger starters, she couldn't, shes also got courtside seats for the game, I am amazed) and some Hawkeye fans, and on Saturday after I leave the sports bar after the MU game, Im going to a BADger party borrowing a friends Iowa shirt, so I agree with that dad, it is a rat, go Hawkeyes
