hundreds of students gathered at the Raynor tonight for a flash rave...surprisingly enough, it appears that it was actually sanctioned by MU administration, DPS, and the Library. Talk about a great way to take a study break

I realize that this is not an original thing, but for a school MU's size to get that many students participating during finals week is pretty incredible (other schools that have done this according to the facebook group page are large state schools like UNC, Kentucky, Tennessee, OK State, James Madison and Auburn)
When I heard about it, I thought i was a horrible idea and I thought it was just going be 15 kids thinking they were cool and interrupting those cramming for tests. Guess I was wrong. Looks cool.
Anyone spot Jimmy Butler in the crowd when Party in the USA came on?
Anyone else have a good laugh around 1:54 in the first video when the girl in the Indiana t-shirt lands hard while crowd surfing.
It's Indiana!
Awesome.
Here's a better video. Chanting "We are Marquette" in the Library was the best part.

This has to be one of the song of the game picks for the students soon.
Although in all musical terms "Party in the USA" is one of the worst songs of the 2000s in my book, between Jimmy and this, it's almost tolerable.
A little national love for Marquette never hurts, even if it's not for basketball.

I was expecting something really cheesy but it was pretty decent.
