Once again, we are getting our ass handed to us inside, with the white oaf doing the ass handing.
No inside game. Why are we zoning these guys, and why are we not running?
Once again, Buzz has no clue.
I have no idea why we came out in a zone against a good shooting/passing team. We just spotted them a lot of points with a bad coaching decision.
pathetic and embarrassing effort for the first 13 minutes or so. hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us and we can give DJO the ball!
Wisc is shooting almost 60% and are 10 for 11 from ft line. Hayward is 3 for 10 and MU has made some dumb turnovers at the worst of times. Still in it after half, but we are a really small team and it shows today.
Our end of half clock management is horrible.....running it down to less than 6 secs and taking a bad long three.......
Our basketball IQ is really questionable.
And why was DJO out of the game when he singlehandedly brought us back from 17 down........????

In all fairness, Leuer is hardly an oaf. The kid can play.
And for the 5th time (see the other threads), DJO came out because of fouls.
The last 90 seconds weren't great. 9 points is doable. Let's hope they can do it.

And why are we letting them consistently run inside?! It's like our defense stops at the perimeter.
Foul situation's getting annoying.
It's not just inside. Their guards can get to the paint whenever they want.
I'm not sure what we are accomplishing with the press. They break it and head right to the basket.
I have to give Buycks some credit. He is still going strong to the basket trying to draw some fouls. However, our defense is atrocious.

Buzz was a coaching genius last year when he ran a zone.
We didn't run because Bucky didn't turn over the ball.
UW dictated the game in their house and has the better team this year. As I said before, MU can't win when it can't dictate the game.

Minnesota is superior to Wisconsin and the oaf further proves it. I was surprised at how well Jordan Taylor looked at times.. he went to the same Catholic high school in the Twin Cities I attended and played ball at (until I was booted for being terrible). Back then, it was mostly us white whitey whitefaces, and Devean George around the gym. But, dude looks pretty good.
I like seeing fellow Minnesotans do well.. it gets a bit tough though when you've got the dorks on Wesconsun's team, .. Cole Aldrich at Kansuz and... then... Royce White and Trevor Mbakwe 'kind of' on the home team Gophers.
