Here comes the second half surge from DJ!
NO need to work on the athleticism! Wow can that guy JUMP!
You mean this one?
he looks like he will be no where near making it
amazing
Nice pic!
Do you have the one where he climbs through the trees to get a rebound?
I love the alley oops we attempt. Even the ones that don't work.
Where are all the haters of the alley oop now that where here after the Provy game and the WV game? (Note :this one was also thrown from McNeal who got lit up on these boards after those two games for missing it)

Hi, I'm a hater. I like Matthews finishing on alley-oops better than James. His percentage is terrible. Granted this was in a half-court set where he is much better than in transition, but they fail far more often than succeed.
Fans now should just appreciate the fact we can even try alley ooops...there weren't too many I can remember during the Lovett, Shaw, Bargen days when I was in school.
Wait a minute...Bargen was very athletic. He threw down some nice dunks in his day!

Remember when the rivals board had a "dunk meter" a couple of years ago, but it was removed (in 2005?) because MU almost never got any dunks? Nice to see that the team is athletic enough to be dunking again. Perhaps this should be dual-posted on the suggestions board: bring back the dunk meter!
Yet it was Matthew who was #5 on Sports Center Top Ten for his reverse layup against 2 defenders. Props to Wes.

That's possible. Just have to go back through the play-by-plays to get the current tally. Anybody have some spare time and feel like doing that? ;D
I can modify a script I have to go through and tally em automatically.. give me some time and I'll do it (probably this weekend).

I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but I do know that the box scores on Marquette's website indicate whenever there is a dunk. On several occasions this year, I have just done a Ctrl-F on that page to find where it says that there was a dunk. Obviously, this might not be as reliable as actually watching (or whatever you have in mind) but it might work. It would probably only take a minute or so for each game.

Yup, that was the method I was thinking (ctrl-f).

ehh.. easy.. already had a cron job to download and parse each of the box scores and then do some manipulation.. just needed to get the most recent few games in it, add a grep for GOOD and DUNK, and remove the non-MU players.. import into excel, sort, count, sort, sum, make a text concatenation to make a table out of it, copy/paste and done ;)
not too hard at all.. for more fun check out this stat graphing page (http://www.spiralzone.net/PHPdiagram/php/player.php) that I am in the process of creating. That was a bit more complicated.. select stats and player you're interested in on top, click generate, and you should see a graph of stat count on y axis, game number on x-axis.. please keep in mind this only has box info through the pitt game I believe.. and is still in development.. but should give you an idea of where I'm going. ;)

Done.
Also, my dunk totals earlier were off.. if you look at the table, almost every player had dunks credited to them under their first and under their last name.. the box scores switch the format back and forth on how they refer to a player so it misled the script. The Dunk-Meter at the top of this board has this collapsed correctly. ;) Let me know if there are any other errors!
