Title: Jack's Off The MU Payroll
Post by: 4everwarriors on December 11, 2009, 10:13:31 AM
Doesn't this guy have any self-esteem? Now he's been named Stanford's interim running backs coach. Probably give a pregame rah-rah pep talk as well. That's one tightly knit family. Probably that's what TC meant by family; his, mine, and ours.

I wonder if being the interim running back's coach entails walking season ticket holders out to midfield at halftime of games.

It's like ghost-payroll schemes.

20 months.    Are you guys still mourning your dog that died when you were 10?     Are you still mad at the girl who dumped you in 9th grade?    Let.   It.    Go.

he had quite the options to choose from:

1)  Interim RB coach at Standford
2)  Mystery position in the Ravens organization
3)  Diet Coke and Tanning Solution Procurement at Indiana

Tower - while I am over that crean left us, giving family members cushy jobs on the payroll because you can is a practice I don't care for...

I don't understand the vitriol, seems like a very successful family.

One is a head coach in the NFL.  One is a head coach at a Pac Ten school at arguably the best program in the country (athletics program).  Son in law is head coach at a Big Ten school and one of the top 5 programs of all time.  Father won a national title as a head football coach in Division I-AA as well as an Asst. Coach at places like Michigan, Pittsburgh, Stanford, and Iowa.

Nice to hear him mentioned on the Monday Night Football broadcast with the Packers and Ravens.

Now, the part about the cushy jobs...well, I agree with you guys.  It's like a political machine in Chicago or Washington....jobs for doing nothing.  Can't argue with that.
