Hits the open jumper, plays good d, assists the made 3 and then gets the other guy to travel. Nice to see little improvements in his comfort level.
Yes - he is playing well. Would love to see him shoot more - that was a smooth jumper he took.
Go Jeronne!
he passed up a jumper from almost that same spot on the previous possession or two and it looked like buzz called him over as if to say "you should take that j-may."
Needs to learn how not to foul
He will be a monster (in a good way) in a year or two when he adds muscle and explosiveness. His frame is perfect for adding muscle and staying quick.
We need to keep starting him. I'd love to start 3 guard, but with otule out I think we need all 3 6-6ist strong rebounders on the floor as much as possible.
Maymon's big body reminds me of DeJuan Blair minus 50 pounds.

I agree. When I read your post it reminded me of when Lazar was a freshman and how many fouls he would get in so few minutes. Lazar eventually learned to foul less and take better fouls when needed, so I have hope for Maymon to improve in this area as well.

The essence of DeJuan Blair's success is that he, A., has an incredible fat ass and, B., he knows exactly how to use that big fat ass!
