One thing that happen in the NC St game was that the refs changed how they called the game in the second half. There were very few fouls called in the first half. In the second half there were three quick fouls called on MU. I do not think MU adjusted well to the change and it effected how they played defense. After the third foul I looked up at the score board and four of the starters had one foul and the other had none. The starters had one foul in the first half and three in a little over a minute in the second half.
And there ya go...
So far today we've blamed Buzz, the crappy crowd, the Bradley Center...and now the referees.
Anything else???

I read it as MU didn't adjust. Refs call different games differently. Sometimes fouls are called differently as games progress. If a team doesn't adjust to how the game is being called, they will struggle.
I blame PRN and his buddies in the first row of the upper deck with the cute I want pizza t-shirts.
Solar flares. Definitely solar flares.

It sometimes looks like Buzz's no fouling styled defense results in some pretty easy baskets down low for the other team. On several occasions on Saturday our players backed away underneath and appear to almost concede the basket instead of going up and challenging and risking a foul. I can maybe understand this if we're in foul trouble but that wasn't the case against NC State.
