tonight....MU(8-2) is in 1st place with a tie breaker on the 2nd(Pitt 8-2), 3rd(WVU 8-3), 4th(L'ville 7-3), and a game on Saturday with the new 5th seed (G'town 6-3) to gain the tie breaker advantage on them as well. This could be the week that puts MU in the drivers seat as well as the top 10. Let us just beat Rutgers first...this game scares me.
Every game scares me. Obviously TC is concerned as well as he cancelled a media session yesterday per Rosiak's article today. Need to focus. On the bright side, there will be no potential "bad" losses after this as games at G-Town, DePaul and ND and home games against Lousville, Villanova and Pitt (as well as the BE tourney ) are obviously all quality games. Now, lets fire up and beat Rutgers with payback for last year's snow debacle at the RAC.

Forgot about that blizzard during the Rutgers game last year. Wasn't Marquette practicing in NJ the day after the game?
Yeah...everybody was worried about the trap at USF - this is worse. Even the media seems to be ignoring this game. Sure Rutgers isn't even a "good" team, but they have played most of their games well enough to stay in them ('cept for DePaul, UNC, and Bradley...). Marquette needs to focus on this game just as much as they would focus on any other Big East Game. Play hard, hopefully win, and move along....
