Title: [Rosiak's Blog] Maymon out

Maymon out

Freshman forward Jeronne Maymon has been ruled out for today's game with North Carolina State because of a hip pointer suffered in practice earlier in the week.

That, of course, leaves the Golden Eagles' bench even thinner than it has been, and eliminates a fairly reliable rebounder.

Also, just saw former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie. Gillispie, of course, was MU coach Buzz Williams' boss at Texas A&M a few years back.

Not being rude, but its not a big deal...pretty sure we'll be able to replace the 2 points and 3 boards.

I was going to comment I thought that looked like Gillispie at the scorers' table next to the MU bench.

Fulce with 6 boards early, there were also 2 instances where he kept possesion by forcing NC ST to knock it out of bounds.  Hopefully he scores 12 or 14 and gets some confidence on the offensive end.

Just saw the Miller truck backing up to Turners to restock.
