Lunardi's new bracket is up
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology
MU a 2 seed.
and rising..
anyone got the insider blurb on MU from it?
Im really liking the 2 seed because that would more than likely put us in Chicago which would be absolutley fantastic
Agreed....a 2 seed and playing in Chicago would be ideal! The way Lunardi has his bracket setup MU could have a potential second round matchup with Tennessee...Crean/Pearl.
Marquette
Marquette has the best LunaRPI (road/neutral games only) in the country. The reward is a promotion to a No. 2 seed and a projected trip to Chicago.
Why seeded here?
Marquette is building a profile similar to the 2003 Final Four team.
May change because:
Two of next three on the road, which doesn't seem to bother the Golden Eagles.
Good Wins
RPI 1-25: N-Duke @Pittsburgh
RPI 26-50: N-Texas Tech, West Virginia, Providence
Bad Losses
RPI 101-200: North Dakota State
RPI 201+: None

and rising..
not exactly. just means we rose from the last bracketology. honestly, unless we win out, i feel like a 2 is our upper threshold...
It's hard to complain about a two seed, especially when we were bound for the NIT only a month ago.
