I think we'll do our job, and I think it is entirley possible that both Pitt and Georgetown lose their games. By this time tomorrow we could be effectively alone in first place with a chance to grab the conference by the nuts against Georgetown on Saturday.
I'm rooting for the home team in each of those! ;)
But we wouldn't be alone in first place.. we'd be tied with Pitt - but would completely control our own destiny with regards to wrapping up the title outright.
Wait. We're the home team in one of those!
Funny that.... ;)

Yes, but at the moment we hold teh tie breaker advantage (for No. 1 seed).

The final game vs. Pitt is why we'd control our destiny. They don't do tie-breakers for th BE title. We'd split.
even though g'town and pitt both won, yesterday was still an interesting day for the big east standings. it further compacted the group in the middle. 4th place and 12th place are seperated by only TWO losses...that's crazy. meanwhile, mu, pitt and g'town have a two loss cushion for the top three seeds. we certainly have not "wrapped" up a bye, but with 6 games left, it's looking darn good...
