Lake Buena Vista, Fla. -- The Old Spice Classic title slipped from the Marquette Golden Eagles' grasp.
Up by as many as 17 points early in the second half, poor free-throw shooting and turnovers doomed them down the stretch as they fell, 57-56, to the Florida State Seminoles at Disney's Milk House on Sunday night.
Lazar Hayward scored a game-high 19 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds en route to being named to the all-tournament team, and his jumper with 31.3 seconds remaining gave MU (6-1) a 56-55 lead.
