c'mon espn!!!! are you serious?!?!
Priceless, ESPN, priceless....
ESPN just listed Lazar "Haywood" on the screen. It also seems like the announcers were calling him Haywood at the last game. He's a senior. You would think they would be able to get it right by now.
Yeah, while even Gottlieb takes us to win (says we're "really good on defense"), he says we can ride Haywood to the win...come on guys!
Len Elmore did point out that with his coastal accent it comes out like 'Haywood' when he is saying 'Hayward'.
But when you think about it, this name fiasco has been going on for five years ever since he was first recruited. It's got to be down to the east coast accents involved.
Maybe Hayward should dish it off to DJO because he is stinking it up in the first half with his shooting.
Why was Hayward in the game with one minute to go, up by 12 and with two fouls?
Hopefully his trend of picking up 4 fouls will stop. It may bite us in the butt and he needs to hit an outside shot soon.
OK, he's back. Great start to half.
Cubillan and Acker have given us nothing and we're still winning.
len elmore is bar none the worst commentator that gets nationally televised games.

Also, Elmore said something to the effect, "I know (Hayward) is spelled H-E-Y-W-A-R-D but it sounds like 'Haywood' because of my New York accent."
