Isnt the game at 7:30est?
7:30 PM EST is what ESPN showed in their bracket
Homer says 6:30pm CST on Sunday
Games were really fun to watch especially the way we continued to go inside. Acker and Cub much more effective.
Defense remains a concern in the Big East as teams will post us up and then crash the boards. We really won this game with quickness and that may be negated by several BE opponents.
Did anyone else notice how we have come out flat at the start of the second half in both games this week. If we could turn that around it would be a major advance.
Very happy with the games as we could have collapsed and instead the team played as a team and attacked the basket.

It has been true since Wade was at MU. When our guard dominated teams continue to attack the basket, we win. When the team gets intimidated or backs off to jump shooting, we lose.
I loved what I saw today when it came to attacking the hoop.

I think what has been understated is Lazar's growth and maturity shown by him never backing down each time Love blocked his shot or always remaining aggressive even when he picked up 4 fouls late in both the Xavier and Michigan game.

+1 was just going to comment about Lazar's persistence and no-quit attitude in both these games. tremendous effort to take it in.
Also, our guards penetrating and getting to the rim is the key for us this eyar - we need them to get tot he hole to score or kick it out for an open look. I am thrilled with these last two games, and am amazed that this team passes so well so early in the season since most have not played with each other before. Just awesome! GO MARQUETTE!!
