Does anyone else remember when Dukiet would have Grosse jump center and then come out at the first dead ball, not to be heard from again? I don't think Buzz plays that way, but I can certainly envision Yous jumping center and then fouling on the first possession, being subbed for, and then just playing garbage minutes.

I'm not sure Yous has left his feet yet in a game :P

Does he have to? :)
But back to the OP, if I were to nominate anyone for the tip, I think it'd be Fulce.

I would nominate E-Will
Can we put Acker in a cannon and shoot him toward the ball for the tip-off
At midnight madness I was looking forward to the jump ball between Otule and Yous. Butler jumped in place of Yous and smoke Otule. I would use Butler instead of Fulce for the jump ball. I think Buzz looks at one game at a time vs a coach like Izzo (job security helps) who is looking for the best team in March. My guess is that Izzo would be more incline to start Williams instead of Fulce, because that is where the most ability is for us at the center position. Whereas Buzz is going to start Fulce because that will most likely result in a victory for today's game. Of course thinking about March is much easier if you know you are going to make the tournament. A loss in November and December is much more detrimental to MU than MSU. A top ten team can afford a loss. We cannot afford any loss.
Wasn't Grosse a Majerus recruit? I think he even offered his high school buddy a scholarship as team manager.
I think you are correct about him being a Majerus recruit. We had him and Roman Mueller ("the greatest sleeper since Rip Van Winkle") when Majerus left, though Roman ultimately followed Rick to Ball State. Combined 14 feet and 440 pounds of klutz.

One thing that drew my attention during Buzz's pre-season comments was how he was willing to lose a few games earlier in the year in order to teach kids how to play basketball the way he wants them to play. I have yet to see Buzz make a huge adjustment to the way he wants MU to play, and I don't think we'll see that in the future. I think Buzz is insistent on maximizing his players talent. We'll see.

Not sure what you have seen but I have not seen much from the Fulce. The most substance he's had was when he cleaned out his fingernail during the timeout on that play at Providence.
