Title: A tenuous connection between MU and UMES
Post by: Skatastrophy on November 16, 2009, 11:09:59 AM
So we play UMES tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7pm.  I was poking around for info on UMES and I came accross this article (http://www.umeshawks.com/genrel/082009aaa.html) describing how UMES stole our administrative student assistant and game-day staff member.  UMES snatched up Maggie Hayon, an MU grad with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing, as Sports Information Assistant for the 2009-10 academic year.

It seems that our opponents are now hiring informants from our own program in order to get the inside info.  To steal the thunder from the running joke: This proves that UMES is evil (and must be destroyed).

I don't know if anyone has come across statsheet.com, but they have a stat-based preview (http://statsheet.com/mcb/games/2009/11/17/2009-11-17_maryland-eastern-shore_vs_marquette) of the game tomorrow night.  I'm definitely digging the player impact charts!

Whoa ..

MEAC vs Big East

Head-to-Head Since 1980:
MEAC 3 wins, Big East 137 wins

That kind of beating should be illegal.

Yeah, I know. You think other teams should just quit when they see a stat like that.

But somehow UWM always comes back for more...

DePaul has two of the 3 losses.  (Miami is the other.)
