Title: Lazar and foul trouble
Post by: Clam Crowder on November 13, 2009, 10:22:21 PM
im a freshman here at marquette, and dont really monitor until big east games. Is Lazar usually in foul trouble until the refs become more lenient with big east play?

1) Glad you're watching so early this year

2) Yes, it always seems like refs call MU for a lot when we clearly overpower teams.  I guess I can understand their point of view...

3) However, Lazar always seems to be in foul trouble - and he really needs to figure it out this year.

Mac and Homer were joking tonight about Tim being 85 years old, and having the eyes of a 75 year old.  I don't think they're too far off...

StatSheet has good info, even on Refs

It wasn't just Lazar or the refs tonight.  We looked good offensively but defensively we need work right now.  There are a lot of teams out there that would have put 80+ on us tonight.  Yes we forced a good deal of turnovers but this is Centenary.

We still have time to get better so I am not concerned yet.   However, way too many uncontested shots and hacking going on tonight.
