Post by: mu_hilltopper on February 04, 2007, 08:24:48 AM
On my Yahoo page, I have a display of the weather in places I've visited.

Skagway, Alaska:  29 F

Helsinki, Finland:  23 F

Os, Norway : 28 F

Milwaukee, WI:  -13 F

BRRRRRRR!!!  That's freaking cold.

Hilltopper, I live in Erie. The wind chill today is minus-22 and we're expecting 18 to 22 inches of snow. I'm coming to Milwaukee in two weeks to escape the winter weather.

Well, if you're counting windchill, it's -34.

But you got us on snow.

Up until the last few weeks, this winter has been mild.

hrmmm.. I live in dallas.. I'm coming to milwaukee in two weeks to get a taste of winter weather again... trying to keep my blood thick enough for when I move back up north some day.  Can you keep the -34 wind chill around for a few more weeks (and maybe arrange for a blizzard)?  Last year's trip resulted that way.. Rocky and I came in on some of the last planes before they cancelled flights going to milwaukee.

Oh I miss Milwaukee weather!

I hate the 60 degree temps in Northern CA right now.

And I'm being serious.

I feel you, ecompt.  Here in West Michigan,  some places have received 3 feet of snow since Thursday.  In Grand Rapids, where I live, 20 inches.   Combine with 30 mile per hour winds and a current temperature of 2, it is really fun out there.  On weekends like this in college, you could separated the serious drinkers from the pretenders by who would be out at the Gym with only a denim jacket.
