Update time

Written by: noreply@blogger.com (Tim Blair)

With the season less than two weeks away Buzz Williams received good news recently when the NCAA ruled that freshman center Youssoupha Mbao (http://www.gomarquette.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/103009aaa.html) would only have to sit out two games due to a violation of his amateur status before enrolling at Marquette.   Mbao will miss games against Centenary and Maryland Eastern Shore before hitting the court against Grambling State on November 21.

I loved the comment on the Memphis site suggesting there was something shady going on with the Black/MU recruiting because there is no way a person from the South could want to go to school in the cold North.  The best was the reply that gave several great reasons he would want to come to MU and "the last time I checked they play indoors"

The "shades" of Marquette basketball will be Black and Blue.  So I guess something shady is going on with Marquette basketball.  :D
