Haunted Hoops 2009 Video
Written by: hilltopper91@gmail.com (Kevin Buckley)
I shot some video during the first half of the Haunted Hoops scrimmage.
(You may want to allow YouTube to buffer the video for several minutes. I do not know why.)

Nice job and thanks.
Curious, did the video playback for you?
When I try to watch it, Youtube just sits there for minutes, trying to buffer. I left it for 10 minutes, maybe 3 minutes got buffered.
Is it me, or Youtube?
Used my Mac. Just clicked and worked great, no wait.
Only thing that was slow was Chris Otule....
worked right away with no problems for me
"YouTube is down for maintenance and will be back shortly. "
Seems like a youtube problem, not a personal problem.
Mbao and Otule look slow and soft. Need some energy out there. However, it is a scrimmage.
Mbao actually looks pretty quick and agile to me for a 7'2" guy. Soft he is, though. (in my yoda voice)
9:53 minutes of video and not a single shot made more than 8 feet away from the basket.
<sigh>
I was at the scrimmage and I can tell you there were perimeter shots made.....Buycks hit one of his two three attempts (pretty polished shooter)... Fulce drained a trey I believe, Cubby and Acker misfired on their deep shots(ut oh). DJO had some solid looking long shots, one somehow fell out at the haltime buzzer(but his stroke looked good and confident).
Read Rosiak's Blog and SilverWarrior from the other Marquette message board (sorry). Much more encouraging than the 10 minute video on Cracked Sidewalks (not to say the video was bad, I appreciate it).
FWIW, here's Silver's take - yes, you're allowed to link here :)

OK thanks...that makes me feel a little better.
BTW, I thought Otule looked fine in that video. He'll never be a big offensive threat, but he played decent defensively. I think he looked much improved over last year.
It's really hard to judge Otule's development by watching him guard Yous.
Last year Chris was not good enough to see the court on a team that desperately needed help inside.
This year our only measuring stick for judging his improvement is his play against Yous. Who, right now, is not a D1 basketball player (no disrespect intended, he's a project).
