the part where the Miami Heat are coughing up 20k to the Warriors athletic program in honor of #3?
A little bit on the chintzy side wouldn't you say? After all the playoff money they made because of D Wade.
considering Riley must spend $800-900 on a pair of pants and the same for shoes. Then again, they didn't have to throw any scheckles our way.
I thought it was odd that the Miami representative didn't mention Rothstein who is their current coach. He mentioned Riley and another Riley though.

Dwyane makes more than that per quarter.
My goodness - now we're complaining about free money for the basketball program! Would you rather the Heat gave Marquette $0? I thought it was a very generous donation that came almost out of nowhere. I certainly didn't expect them to donate nor do I see any reason why they should feel obligated to.
TJ is right on the money. How easy is it for people to spend other people's money? Do we not think there is a school in or around Miami on which the Heat could EASILY spend $20K? My GOD!!
Name me ONE NBA franchise that donated money to the school of one of its players? One!?
It's an off-the-charts great gesture and a great thing for MU
Also, thanks to 4ever for bringing this to the board for people who didn't make it to the game. That was a really nice gesture and people should hear about it.
Anyone know who the presenter was? I tried to catch it from the video, over and over, and just couldn't figure out who that was, matching it with Heat leadership. He was very complimentary towards Wade.
