Title: OT - UCONN at Marquette Women on TV in Milwaukee Tonight
Post by: Marquette Fan on February 03, 2007, 03:36:11 PM
Congrats to the men today on a nice win.

Huge game for the MU women tonight as they welcome UCONN (9-0 in the Big East) and 5th in the nation.  As many people know, the game is the first ever sellout in the Al - been playing there since Jan. of 04.

The game is on live in Milwaukee on Time Warner Sports (Ch. 32) in Milwaukee.

Go Marquette!

Thanks for posting that .. I only caught the last 2 minutes, but it was interesting.

Lance Allen/Tony Smith doing the broadcast.

MU loses 52-48 to UConn.  What's UConn ranked?

Tough loss for the ladies.  Quaye had a chance to win it with a three with 12 seconds left but it wasn't meant to be.  Anyone know what the deal is with the Time Warner Cable sports station... what they plan on showing and if any future MU games will be broadcasted?  Prior to tonight's live broadcast of the woman's game, I've seen mostly replays of either high school or local college teams.  All the games seem to be of very poor picture quality.

I have seen at least 3 other MU women games on that channel but none of them were live.
