check out their website and go down to the MU and UW basketball schedules. The MU schedule ends with the Big East tournament in New York. No mention of possible NCAA play. The UW schedule goes through the Big Ten tournament and all the way through to the championship game.
This was brought up on the other board a week ago, there's no bias involved whatsoever. The JS just copies what each school has. If you look at the MU schedule on gomarquette.com and the UW schedule on uwbadgers.com thats exactly what the JS has.
Don't worry - we've got you covered regardless. MUScoop's "super schedule" is not always the most up to day with W/L records, but you won't find another Marquette schedule around that has distances for both MU and the opponent, as well as nicknames and all-time records

Oh, and the BE and NCAA tourneys are on there too 8)
p.s. - Ick! We're 2-3 all time against PC. Time to even that out!
UW is also guaranteed an appearance in the post season tournament at the start of the season. MU is not.
If the Badgers win they got top billing and a huge picture on the front
When Marquette Wins they dont even get a sidebar
When the Badgers lose, no picture no sidebar and only a small smidgeon of an article
When MU loses, Huge picture, about three sidebars about how we dont belong in the big east, and how are fans are morons or something like that.
Milwaukee is a nice town, but its paper could dissappear and no one would miss it. When I was at MU, I always purchased the chicago tribune because it always had better MU coverage than the JS.

Truer words have never graced this board (or any board).
disappear. It's been reformatted and just blows. Don't know anyone who thinks the changes have improved readibility.
Who cares about the JS coverage. If you want MU coverage, you have plenty other options. Face it, the JS is biased to UW because of a lot of different factors. The Chicago papers both have biases. You should be happy that MU gets some coverage in the paper. DePaul gets virtually zero coverage down here. The Illini, ND and MU get more coverage than any DePaul or any of the other local schools like Loyola, or UIC.
