Just got back from classes and saw Jimmy in a walking boot, much like the one DJO has walked around campus in. Hopefully this is just a Tom Brady-pre Super Bowl situation...
Does the Al need a new floor?
I wish I was MU's medical boot supplier, at least I'd be rich by now :'(
I heard it's been pretty cold back in the Midwest as of late... Let's hope he's just preparing for winter.
I hope to God he is not in a boot or hurt. we will be in a gang of trouble if he goes down
I guess this is why they call it boot camp. :-\
Wow... Better hope this isn't serious
Can Rob hook us up with a statistical analysis of the these foot injuries vs. other Big East schools. Seems like MU is doing something totally messed up here.
How about JUCO players with injuries.
This is another reason MU shouldn't go after these guys.
I can't take any more bad news about the team. I'm just going to sit here at work and pretend that it didn't happen until I hear something from Rosiak.
If it's not one foot, it's another.......or both. Enough already!!!!
Wes Matthews wore a boot for a month 2 seasons ago just to protect one of his ankles and only took it off to practice. HOPEFULLY its just a minor twist and he is wearing it as a precaution
Paging Dr. Weingart!
I heard from my cousin's mother's friend that he lost his leg in a gruesome farming accident.
There, now whatever we hear in the coming days, it will seem like good news.
My roommate just finished the Chicago Marathon and had pain in his foot a bit prior to the race and then obviously after. Yesterday, a doctor put him in a boot despite X-rays being negative, just as a precaution. Alot of times its just to take the pressure off the foot and allow the patient to walk normally. You'd be surprised how minor annoyances get worse because of the constant stress of walking and standing. Hopefully that's all it is.
Like when you lose your hair when you go through chemo, and everyone at your work shaves their heads, they should have the whole team wear boots. That way, we'll just think it's one guy who really needs the boot. That would be easier for everyone to take, and natural cover for Buzz, to boot.

Rosiak is working diligently to find an article on the web that was written about Butler's walking boot. Once he finds it, he'll copy and paste it into his blog.

Geez, I never knew there was so much dislike of Todd Rosiak.

I never knew there was
any dislike of Todd Rosiak.
Dodds reports he's in the boot, but is still practicing. Sounds very precautionary to me.
chances of seeing him at midnight madness??
Will he show for MM or "Get the Boot"?
Sending fans in a tizzy by wearing a boot as a precaution is a bootable offense.
Reading these posts about Jimmy crashed my computer. I need to reboot.
He's a shoe in for 1st Team All Big East
What's with all these puss' 'n boots...
/I'll try harder next time
They stuffed Jimmy Butler in the trunk? Must have been a big trunk. (trunk....boot.....nevermind)
Well, at least his boot is made for walking.........
And Tower, you can do better....
Am I the sole person who thinks this is stupid!?!
How about this, Lurch? When I read about this latest injury, I booted a little in my mouth.
Junior Cadougan wants to know what this is all aboot.
In honor of Buzz' state of origin, we are going to have a boot-scootin demonstration at MM.
Well, I guess it's better then a Boot to the Head! (http://beagleweb.com/personal/Frantics-Tae-Kwon-Leep-64k.mp3)
Is booting a basketball possible or are their only bricks in basketball?

No, but the first time it was witty ... but the 11th time ...
I am sitting at my desk watching the Mizzou game from last year, and really focusing on Jimmy's play. This game in particular looks like he has alot of potential off the dribble getting to the basket/free throw line. I know he wasn't in an offensive role (last year) but if I can extrapolate his performance in the final game of the season to this year, I am excited to watch him.
It'll be nice to have some offense down-low after watching Dwight throw up a few bricks.
GO MU
boot.
I win.
Wow. With posts like this, the season needs to start NOW.
I'm guessing this all just a lot aboot nothing.
Your mom called.
It was a booty call.
does this mean that by JB wearing a boot, he is "bootylicious?" ;)
I just hope he heels soon.
