From The Kansas City Star
QuoteA 1997 Chevy Tahoe driven by Kansas sophomore forward Markieff Morris during a Sept. 13 car accident was sold to teammate Tyshawn Taylor by Scot Pollard in August, Pollard said Wednesday. Questions arose about the Tahoe's owner and whether there could be a possibility of improper benefits, because the police report from the accident, in which Morris was cited for an improper lane change, stated the car was registered to Pollard, a former KU and NBA player who lives in Lawrence. Pollard said Taylor had not yet transferred the car to his name at the time of the accident.
I guess you can fly under the NCAA's radar driving an old Tahoe a lot easier than in a new Escalade....as long as you don't get into a wreck.... :o
That's just normal Jersey stuff. Tyshawn sure seems to get his tit in the wringer alot at KU.
Gotta wonder; is Self losing control over his team or is his recruiting of so many prima donnas catching up with him?
Obviously too many kids from Catholic high schools on his team. Should have gone with more jucos.

lol... Well played!
Someone give this man a Nobel Prize!
Glad MU backed off this kid. Seems like nothing but trouble. Chances are if Crean were still here, we'd be stuck with both these jags.

By the way, I don't know if you heard, but Marquette today was announced as NCAA Champions in basketball...not on anything we actually accomplished, but on the hopes that we might accomplish it later.

Now *there's* some revisionist history for ya! MU didn't let him out of his LOI, and sent Buzz out to talk with his coach, just so he could tell him in person that they were "backing off."

It's almost like giving a successful first year coach a raise/extension to encourage him to keep doing what no one else has had the ability to do in the past.

That just isn't true.
Dont let your hate for anything Tom Crean related to get in the way of the facts.

Self says it's a non-issue...

As for Morningstar....it's addition by subtraction for KU. According to the kids on the street, the young man was routinely drinking and driving. Brady is a Lawrence boy...apparently his father got him out of a few previous DUI's with the local law enforcement.
C'mon Chicos, take it to the political board on Scout. Oh wait, you got banned...
And yeah, that's complete revisionist history 4ever... Buzz would have killed to have TTaylor, along with everyone else on this board. Imagine how much better we would have been come tourney time last year after James went down with Taylor steping in.
Fly, and everyone else, come on dudes, I know all that stuff. Just because I don't use teal doesn't mean I'm 100% serious.
With respect to Taylor and MU last season, he was ready to play as a freshman and therefore wouldn't have filled in for DJ because Taylor would have been a starter already.
For those who care, Blue will have a bigger impact his freshman year at Marquette than Ty had at KU.

Your positive thinking puts a smile on my face. Thanks for that :)

This is one of those things that was supposed to be in teal again right?

A bold prediction to be sure. No need to put it in teal though.
Wayne, you know I'm right.

Hahahahaha! Freshman TT and his 1.25 a/t ratio would have have been starting over Senior DJ and his 2.67 a/t ratio? Good one. Did you and Murf get your log-ins mixed up?

Not sure about that.
TT had a better cast...so his numbers are a bit inflated.
Me thinks Vander's better...by far.

Some day I'm hoping you and Lenny can give me some sound financial advice....when I need it, I'll give you a call. ;D
