His dad is the Godfather of Maurice Acker
I could still take him.
The thing that kills me about this... what if he grows to 5'7" like Maurice Acker? there goes those NBA hopes dad. Yes he is good, but he's 9.
And I want to hang out with the reporter.
Crean will probably offer the kid today after Wade, McCarthy, LaRussa, and Maddox all talk to him.

And Ben Sheets. He's got some time on his hands...
...and the award for the cockiest 9 year old ever goes to.....
Here is a crazy thought... How much further ahead, would this kid be, if his "mentor" and father had him reading and doing school work just half as much as he plays basketball? Never mind, I'm sure he will be an NBA star and then he can give his mentor and his father all sorts of money.
Haha the interview's pretty funny. He'll be pretty good someday, I just can't help but think about how much more ahead he'd be if they had him working on an 8 foot hoop and actually practicing his shooting form instead of him just chucking it at a 10 foot rim from his waste right now. He'll fix it but he could be even more ahead with that.

What if the kid was playing piano? Would you feel that same way?
That entire report is absurd.

I assume that you mean chucking it from his "waist." Chucking it from his waste is a different matter entirely.

How do you know he doesn't? It isn't an either/or type of thing.
the kid's nice but Jillian Jesk? Me likey!
This is legit - The national basketball shooters association is involved. They are a major source of polish talent in the NBA.
He may get into the NBA but who, I ask you, will prepare him for events like this...

I think the NBSA knows the height of the hoop the kid should be shooting on and the size of ball he should be using.

Except when they're drilling him on shooting form they're having him do it against a wall...

I called her first... me me me
But back to the kid... again, the kid can play for a 9 year old, but in the game of basketball there is stuff that decides a future that you can't control such as height. The kid is related to Acker, he doesn't have size genes in his favor.

Looking at his dad, he's got the
other size genes though!
