Well, looks like a lot of people out in the world are agreeing with Marquette84, they like our chances to make the NCAA tournament. 78% currently say yes, MU will make it.
Here's the article and poll

Alot of MU folks with half full glasses vs half empty...time will tell...Go MU!
"Hayward, who has seen his vertical go from 26 when he arrived to 34½ inches"
now THAT is strength and conditioning improvement. 26 inch vert for an 18 yr. old bball star like lazar is pretty weak though
p.s. 3/4 of the voters agree that MU will make the tourney, only 240 some readers tho
74% with 500 votes in now
I'm guilty...I voted as a homer, sorry :)

I wish a few more of them had my back here on the board. I only said .500 in conference and was ripped for it. 500 people (74% of 676) now think MU is an NCAA team.
Looks like 74% of the folks who read this article are MU alums. I would be ecstatic with an NCAA appearance, but am not expecting it. Playing .500 ball in the BE is going to be a stretch this year.
While I'm obviously hopeful for a NCAA Bid, this poll is definitely suffering from a selection bias...

Begs the question of who is voting?
Non MU fans who are so accustomed of the Crean\Buzz frequent trips to the NCAAs?
Casual MU fans that are delusional?
Rabid MU fans that believe this class will duplicate the 2005 class?
To me, the results could be flipped and I could defend it either way. People that say we have no chance of making it have a good case just as those that say we will make it have a good case based on our own history just 4 years ago.

I actually think a lot of votes could be coming from that group. Luckily, MU has earned a reputation as a school "likely" to make the NCAA tournament (and I'd guess many don't know we have "new" coach, or even know who our old coach was...)

Is there a way to track how many times that link has been clicked from this forum?

If it was our forum influencing that poll I'd guess that our own poll would reflect the FOX Sports poll's results, but that isn't the case thus far.

That's fair. I still think there is some selection bias, however.
1090, holding steady at 74% yes. . . if nothing else, ity is good pub for Marquette :)
