According to their website, it looks as if Craig Pintens, Associate AD for Marketing has left MU. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hopefully, they will still play Streets this year.
Yep .. Pintens has left for "a great opportunity" as LSU's Asst. AD (Marketing).
I told him I expected to see some home & homes with LSU starting next year.
His last day is the 16th I believe.
Best wishes to Craig at LSU! He will be missed!
Best wishes to Craig. Should have brought Blueteaux back for the mascot game now....
Thank God Joe True is staying.
Crean forced him out.
Definitely a loss for MU. Craig did a great job here.
Can't blame him though, one of the top FB schools in the country would be tough to pass up.
This is going to set us back years, if not decades.
Joe True, you have got to be kidding@@@@

Why no love for Joe True? He's one of most responsive people I've ever dealt with at MU. If I ever need extra tix, away games, passes -- he always gets right back to me. Seems to be a pretty solid guy.
Craig Pintens Fun Fact!
Craig Pintens once saved an NFL quarterback while training to be a lifeguard.
I thought Brett Farve walked on water.
Joe True is my guy. He's a "do-er"

He's also the best guy for creepy appearances at Hegarty's with co-eds.

He also got beat up by a bunch of little kids as a mascot

as Snappy the Beloit snappers mascot while in TT's home town of Rockford at a Boy's and Girl's club.
He also makes some of the best paper airplanes in the world.
Craig's last day was today. Thanks for all the great work you've done here, and best of luck in Baton Rouge!

Might be, but he doesn't have the composure of the AD at a Div I, Big East school.
Joe True is to MU ADs what Mike Deane was to MU Head Coaches.

You are kidding ..... was the NFL QB also training to be a LG??? ;)

Be that as it may ... Joe True is the person who made my trip (as a student fanatic) to the 2008 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament games @ MSG possible . . .
Joe is only nice if you have the $$$$!
Very hot/cold person!
Everyone is hot and cold. Are you nice to everyone all the time?
It's his job to be nice to donors, no matter how much they give@@@@
I deal with vendors, suppliers, clients on a daily basis and you would be surprised by how many people do not get back to you in a timely manner, if at all. Customer service is pretty much dead in America, IMO.
I don't know all of the responsibilities of Joe True's job, and I don't know him well, but the guy is super responsive and has always come through for me and others. He may not be slick and over-the-top nice all the time, but he gets the job done. Does this qualify him for a promotion? I don't know. But the guy is not a jag.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Joe True. I don't know where all the gate is coming from, frankly. That said, whomever succeeds Craig has some huge shoes to fill. The guy was an asset to MU.
and he has size 13 feet.
He builds his own computers and does his own taxes saving himself unnecessary costs.
I realize it's a little late, but I too would like to send good-luck wishes to Craig at LSU. Love, love, loved the Will Farrell "WE ARE MARQUETTE" bit during timeouts that he initiated. (hint hint... I hope that stays...)
And, just for the record, Joe True is one classy individual. As others have stated, he's very responsive, trustworthy, and professional. If someone has a beef with him, why don't you just call him on his blackberry instead of slingin' mud? I'm confident he'd get right back to you, regardless of your ridiculous posts. Maybe you could have a beer together at the White House or something, you know, air it all out. Perhaps we should all remember that there are real people on this board, thousands them...
Have a great week everyone! Hope to see ya'll in Orlando!! :)
Joe True is great- absolutely the most responsive and personable man to head the blue and gold. And can he smack that golf ball!!
