Dookie V is at it again. I think the mouth should retire now. Duke at #5?. UK at #2 with a completely unproven class and significant questions about team chemistry? And of course, MU nowhere to be seen.

Do you think MU *should* be in the top 40?
To be honest, I think he does have Duke a little high, but that is pretty much in line where I have seen most predictions.
It actually looks pretty good to me. IDK what you're complaining about Texas warrior...
Duke got a player to enroll this fall that was ranked in the top 50 or so in 2010. but he graduated early and will replace Elliott Williams. And who has more talent than Kentucky besides Kansas and maybe UNC? Sure they're unproven maybe, but he's making a guess at who will be good at teh end of the year. MU, at this point, does not belong in the top 40.
Pretty good. I still believe Cincy is a top team and should be very dangerous. MU loses 4 starters with unproven recruits, probably within top 75, but not 40.

MU is a complete unknown. If the newcomers can play, we will be an upside suprise. If not, it will be a long winter in Milwaukee.

If the newcomers (in a class ranked anywhere from 1-20) can't play, it will mean more than 1 long winter in Milwaukee. But I'll be very surprised if this class turns out to be a bust.

I would be surprised if the class turned out to be a bust too, but I don't doubt that they will go through their fair share of struggling this year. Especially without our new PG on campus yet.
I have no qualms with Dickie V. leaving MU out of the Top 40. Duke at 5??? Seems like Vitale is living up to his nickname.
I am not shocked to see that DePaul has not made the Top 40 either. They are bad at college basketball.
Top 40 is roughly equivalent to "will make the NCAA tournament," when you consider the number of at large bids & single bid conferences,
That said, Kentucky's got just as many roster questions as MU does, plus a brand new coach/system to learn for all the returning guys, so who knows.
Dick Vitale usually gives MU a good amount of love so this list isn't because he hates us.

UK...better recruiting class...proven head coach. Yeah, they are a little high, but Calipari has won more games with less talent than that UK team will have.
UK also has Patterson coming back...he's a first round pick
