Outscored 20-9 in the 4th quarter.
Lazar had 9 pts on 4-7 shooting, 1-2 from the line. 2 rebounds.
Do people from UW-Madison celebrate this then? Is it one of those situations where they couldn't lose regardless of the game's outcome?
Bo gets the credit when they win but when they lose its because Battle went 1-11 from the floor................. ;)
Looking at the stats it looks like Bo's team got well.....out-Bo'ed.
Russia beat the US shooting 31% from the floor and 18% from 3.
They were 23-28 from the line....US.....6/7.

Yup, need to get to the tin to draw fouls and not settle for the "swing" around the perimeter and hope the boys are shooting well. But at least they play "pretty basketball". Fran's happy at the effort and beautiful symmetry I'm sure. ::)

I think Fran is on record saying the win for Russia is "great for International Basketball."
I'm really only caring about PBRmeasap as his inputs are right there with Mr. Hayward. Incoherent.
So, no medals for the US because of the loss? I believe this would be the only year we've never gotten a medal if that's the case.
Edit: I was wrong:
S1: Russia - USA (Belgrade Arena)
S2: Israel - Serbia (Belgrade Arena)
Bronze Medal Game: Loser S1 - Loser S2
So, we'll play the loser of Israel/Serbia for the bronze.

Wouldn't they play for the Bronze medal?
Yup, I just corrected my post. We play the loser of Israel/Serbia for the bronze.

I think it was stated elsewhere that Ryan didn't institute the swing, for reasons of time and international playstyles. Not sure what offense they would've been running.
This group can be so funny. When USA wins, it is in spite of Bo. When they lose, it's his fault.
Hey Sultan, I think a little sarcasm is going on here.

It's not funny that Bo is ruining the lives of these young kids. Will it be a laughing matter when Bo's swing offense gives all those players HIV? I think not.

And on the Badger boards right now they've won because of Bo and when they lose it's because Battle shot poorly.
Go figure, the exact opposite. ;)

If you knew that, why did you contribute such an unfunny post?

Are you going to ask yourself the same question?
