This is an interesting link that I saw in one of Gary Parrish's columns. It's a site that shows who the AP poll voters are and what their ballots look like. Seth Davis, for example, had MU at #10 this week.

Wow, that's interesting. DukieV had us 24, and Duke 16. ???
Also, looking at the geographic breakdown, you can see where the east coast bias comes from. I wonder how many voters haven't seen UCLA or Oregon play all year because their games are on so late.

I'm not sure why, but not all the ballots are current. Vitale's is from week 11, not week 13 like most of the others. I noticed this because I saw that San Jose did not even have us ranked and I thought that was odd -- then I saw that it was a couple of weeks old. For the most part, the polls are fairly consistent when you're looking at the same week.
That would explain it.
