Heard from a friend from a friend from a friend. Said D. Wade would be taking summer classes at MU.
So, if true, that begs the questions:
1. Where will he stay? Renee Row? Strack? Maybe Patrician?
2. How do I join his posse?
He'll probably take it at II II and hope the credits transfer!
If anything else he will be the first student ever to be able to take correspondence classes at MU. About F-ing time if you ask me.
Why? Does this make him eligible for MU student basketball tickets? Where does he park the Bentley and Ferrari?
Is Star Jones coming with him? I thought we don't deal in rumors here?
Will he play some pick up games at the Al. Now that would be something for Todd Rosiak to write about. It would also help in impressing the recruits who are playing there for sure.
All jokes aside (and if this is true) I'm glad that he's decided to finish his degree. When he left for the NBA he said that he intended to come back and wrap it up. Crean said that MU wouldn't retire the #3 until Dwyane had his degree, but then Wade proceeded to blow the eff up so things changed.
It sure would be great to get the new cadre a couple open gyms with RJax, Townsend and Wade :)

It would be AWESOME if he was coming back to finish his degree and get in on some open gym games. I just hope Todd won't still be on vacation if this actually happens!
I made the 15 hours drive from Alabama last week for Buzz's Bar-b-q and a minor music festival that happened to be occuring on the lake while I was there. I was told by very good sources that Wade was arriving either the end of last week or Monday to finish his final classes on campus. The alumni and former players in particular have put quite an effort into making sure all of the players eventually get their degrees. I was told that with Wade finishing this summer session, Aaron Hutchins is the only player out there who has not been able to come back to finish. Apparently he is only a couple of classes away from finishing, but he just can't schedule a session in Milwaukee.
Glad to hear that. Did Tony Smith graduate? I know he was working on it a few years back. His lack of a degree kept him off the coaching staff. How about Marcus West? He left at the same time as Hutchins, and was the other guy who had not graduated. I hope they all have and wish them well.
Does Marquette offer any on-line classes to allow people to finish their degrees remotely?
I'm going to guess that Marquette would let Dwyane take an independent studies course. They're not going to force him to sit in classrooms.
This smells like a rumor!
Is the class in shoe design?
D Wade is listed on checkMarq, Undergraduate Communication Major
