Sights seen: Former Marquette basketball star Jerel McNeal from Hillcrest High School threw out a ceremonial first pitch before Monday night's Sox-Oakland game. McNeal, who celebrated his 22nd birthday Monday, finished as Marquette's career leader in scoring and steals. ...

I hope the Bulls get him.  I can totally see him be a Rip Hamilton type of player - solid 15 footer, crafty scorer, and good defender.

Except Rip has 6" on him and McNeal is an overrated defender.

Totally agree, was ridiculed a couple years ago when I said that...just because you get steals doesn't mean your a great defender.  He gambles way to often and gives his man lots of open looks.  That said I think he will be a good defender in the NBA because that will be his focus. 

As for rip hamilton, come on now.
