I sure hope they don't get in trouble for this
Afterall, this is exactly what got Kentucky and NC State's hands slapped

Worst. Photoshop. Ever.
What is a "die heart fan"?
Must be an MPS grad.

Wait, did I miss something? That isn't a photoshop pic, that's Hughes celebration after beating FSU.

You know they will accuse a Marquette fan of sabotage! It's the Madison thing to do!

Hey, if there's one thing that UW Madison people are good at, it's photoshopping African Americans.....
i'm pretty sure i remember something like this surfacing when hayward was making his decision, but maybe that was before the ncaa decided their stance on this
I pride myself on not being a facebook user, and hence can't view the page. Anyone care to describe?

Basically it's a page that says "Bring Vander Blue to Wisconsin" and invites people to join to show their love for Vander. It's something the NCAA frowns upon because it's essentially people wooing a perspective student athlete and they could be boosters, etc.
There are actually two of them from Wisconsin fans. There was one from a MU fan, also, but he has taken his down.
How can you really hold Bo Ryan and the UW staff accountable for this? You guys are acting like there is intent by the UW coaches to have this Facebook plea by some kid in Arizona. Is it really their fault? Should Buzz be held accountable for every knuckledhead MU in the country that may not understand the NCAA bylaws?
I am fully aware of the Kentucky situation, but I don't believe the similaraties are there at all.
And it's probably a MU fan doing this anyways. ::)

I don't think anyone here is blaming Bo or anyone with their program. In fact, on this very board I said that the NCAA was being idiotic with the Wall Facebook situation at NC State. (Not Kentucky BTW). We just think the UW fan seems a little pathetic...that's all.

No one is blaming Ryan. I actually sent a polite note to the guy that started this for the UW side and attached the articles. I don't like the rule either, but that is the rule as it stands now.
Obviously the people involved are ignorant of the rules. The best solution would be to shut the site down and leave it at that.

Not exactly. The guy who started the group posted on one of the Badger boards that he was doing it, was told by other posters that it was a possible violation and then decided to go ahead and do it anyway. He can't claim ignorance on this one.
