Since it's becoming apparent that he's not going to UW now, if I were him and his family, I would try to get out of the state NEXT YEAR and into a prep school.
If he's getting this badly thrown under the bus right now for merely decommitting, I would fathom to imagine the public reaction if he ends up committing to Marquette. Not saying that anyone will try to physically threaten/endanger him or his family, but in terms of having a positive environment, I would strongly consider leaving the state of Wisconsin for a year prior to college.
Some people will be upset, so what. This advice is ridiculous.

I agree, I don't think it will be more than upset fans...I mean I'm sure it's happened countless times before in other states.

Take a step back from the ledge TCTB...it's not like this kid owes the russian mob $. The kid has decided to go to a different school...it happens. He'll be safe and sound in Madison.
Quick Buzz send one of Crean's old hummers, pick him up and enroll him in Nicolet hs.
Call it the UW Burn/MU recruit Protection Program
Blue will be fine. If he goes to MU.....he's probably in better position than Maymon going into the senior year.
The only thing this kid should do is take his time, visit schools make an imformed choice. If that is mu, great, if not I hope he plays some pick games at the Al with maymon when he is home for Christmas.
